As some of you already know, Xavier Veilhan from Lyon, France has amazing talent. His sculptures first appeared in 2009 in the Garden and Royal Court of the Palace of Versailles, standing out because of their bright, lacquered paint and jagged edges. I really like how he makes ordinary figures extraordinary.
This is the kind of art I can appreciate – art that’s pretty – as opposed to all that abstract shit. Watch this video to find out more about this exhibition.
